TONTO DIKEH IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH (CHIEF CAPO)?
2010 has been a very eventful year for Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh. She was constantly in the news for reasons ranging from controversial movie roles, pole dance at Tuface idibia's concert to weird body tattoos and so on.
But as many times as she's been in the news for numerous reasons, none of those reasons has been a relationship or an affair or a man or anything close. But recently, one can't but wonder what is going on between the sexy actress and G-Muzik c.e.o. Chief Capo
Chief Capo is a rapper who returned from the states earlier in the year to set up his own music outfit called G-MUZIK ENT. in Nigeria. Since returning, he's been rumoured to be involved with one top celebrity chick or the other, but asides spotting he and Tonto Dikeh in several hangout spots together over the last couple of months, sources say there is a song titled "Booski Love" already released in the US, which the musician dedicated to her.
However, when asked if there is a love affair in the air, both parties declined to comment. We shall keep our eyes and ears open, fingers crossed as well.

In the spirit of gift and festive cheer SDC have decided to release their long awaited "Clone Wars" mixtape for free download. The debut album The Dreamer Project will be released first quarter of 2011 so they decided to let go of some music to tide our fans over till then and get some new fans in the process.

The first time we heard of Beazy over here at Rhymesville was when his much acclaimed "The Affidavit" mixtape dropped online. Ever since, he has stayed very relevant on the online scene. His "Go Hard Season" which dropped a year later is also worthy of recognition even though it cannot be compared to the previous effort.
And as expected Beazy released an official single "Bad Guy", a savvy tune with a thumping bass lines that always had me readjusting my EQ in the radio station where I was co-hosting a show back then. Heavy and growing a massive buzz, Beazy shot a video for the "Bad Guy" which got good reviews.

But understanding the hiphop scene and knowing that he needed a wider fan base (even though it was growing), Beazy decided to emulate what a few of his foreign counterparts have adopted in recent times; drop a song every week for his fans. Hence BEAZY MUSIC MONDAYS.
So, one track every Monday morning had me wondering, wont he gas out? will the fans not get bored after a couple of weeks, if he eventually scraps the weekly thingy will his fans embrace his other projects knowing what his lyrical potency is?
Well, Beazy proved I and any other doubting Thomas wrong with the way he keeps chunking out good music every Monday, carefully picking the right kind of tracks that will appeal to his ever growing fan base and even the new converts. It's been 17 weeks now and I don't think I'm tired of clicking that download button when he takes to his twitter account to post it.
We look forward to him materializing into other areas of media as he steadily conquers the Nigerian online scene. Here are a couple of tracks that have emerged from his famous Beazy Music Monday List:

Open to every unsigned artist in Nigeria, this competition aims to give one lucky artiste the opportunity to shoot a world class music video for no more than the cost of production. A team of writers, directors and PR professionals will work with the winning artiste from preproduction planning to post-production and promotion of the video
With a focus on creative integrity, visual precision and dynamic storytelling, the goal of this competition is to showcase the vast talent contained in the Nigerian entertainment industry while giving the deserving 'star-in-the-making' a chance to introduce themselves to the world via an aesthetically appealing Music Video.
*RULES AND REGULATIONS*
1. Eligibility: Open to unsigned Artistes in Nigeria. Age >15years old, all genre of music are welcome.
2. Join BR on FB search - Bragging Rights, to see the rules and regulations and follow us on twitter @BR_Media, to stay connected.
3. Submit complete track with brief artiste bio (including phone number and email) to BR @braggingrightsmedia@yahoo.com.
4. Artiste may be nominated by a third party but the nominated artiste must be aware and willing to participate.
5. Submissions and Nominations open January 1st 2011.
6. Submissions and Nominations will close January 21st 2011.
7. Five short-listed artistes (from the available submissions) will be contacted via email and announced (on our FB page) on January 24th 2011.
8. Voting opens once announcement is made - The public will be free to vote for their favorite track to win the video
9. Voting will continue for 2weeks.
10. Final decision = 50% Public votes + 50% BR Directors Vote
11. Winner will be announced February 7th 2011 (five days after voting closes)
12. Winner will be contacted via email.
13. Video must be shot in Lagos, Nigeria.
14. Winner will be charged only for cost of production (capped at N300, 000)
15. BR will make no claims or rights of ownership to the participants’ music, sales of CDs or profits from performances thereof.
16. BR (although under no contractual obligation) will promote the video to the extent determined by her management.
17. The Project is expected to be completed no later than 3months after a winner is announced.

In attendance were many celebrities – Don Jazzy, Wande Coal, D’Prince, WizKid, Chuddy K, DJ Neptune, Tunde Ednut, Bizzle Osikoya and many more.

Activities on that day:

• There was also an informal award session to recognize the most active tweeps (as we call ourselves) in several fun categories. Don Jazzy, Tosyn Bucknor and a few other tweeps won in several categories.
Everyone’s still buzzing about it… time for the 2nd edition.
The 2nd edition is taking place on the 18th of December at Club 10, Saka Tinubu, VI, one of the few sophisticated clubs in Lagos with the best DJs giving out the best of music. There will be a section of the club for the Champions League Competition. Teams will be selected and will battle it out on Playstation 3 games.
There will also be an informal award session to recognize the most active tweeps (as we call ourselves) in several fun categories.
Free Bacardi and Martini Rose on the blue carpet from 9pm to 11pm. Endless night of partying right afterwards.
