One of Africa’s biggest musical export and Nigeria’s very own Mr. Endowed D’Banj are set for an explosive collaboration, in fact the song is already under the pipeline.


We can categorically inform you that you should get your ears ready to listen to dance track as the song brings a dance feel.


Apparently 2face went over to the Mo’Hits Bachelors’ mansion to record it! We share with you a few lines 2face dropped on the Don Jazzy (who were you thinking would produce it?!) produced track:

Last week Thursday, One Thumb held conference somewhere in Lagos and invited a couple of speakers to talk about the forthcoming elections and how we as Nigerians can defend our votes. The choices I make when listing my favourite songs in any month are not neccessarily about how masterful the delivery was or how creative the song is. Some songs just have the ability to stay in your head, or heart, till they are ready to leave.

1. E Ba Mi Ki Won
Spoken word rocks. And when spoken word meets a haunting chorus and reflective lines delivered by Taruwa favourite, Plumbline, we get one of my favourite songs!
On my personal playlist, this song is usually on repeat



2. Labalaba
If you know this song by Samklef and Skales already, then please sing along with me- 'like labalaba'.
Samklef is a really good producer; I enjoy listening to the diffferent songs he has worked on. And this one is a recurring favourite because it is not only frequently requested, but also because I'm forever humming it!

3. Wetin I Go Do
I have said that if music was a man, I would marry it. And the representative would be music by Ese Peters.
Ese is not only a gifted songwriter and amazing guitarist, but he has that rarity- a voice that connects you to something you've forgotten, instantly


4. Salaye
Steaze!
I interviewed this energetic lady and she told me she decided to take that bold step and focus on her music, just this year!
Well, good for her because she already has performances and appearances to her name, and one of her singles, 'Salaye' is a firm favourite!

5. Nobody Test Me
If for whatever reason, I decide to enter the ring, the boxing ring, I would come in feinting to this song
It is a 'fight' song that the trio of Ice Prince, M.I and Jesse make applicable to noone in particular, but everyone in general.
Dnt test me sha, even if na blood test!

6. I Stay
E-V-A Eva! May I say I love this rapper? Her voice? Attitude? Delivery?
And this song shows she is not just about the up tempo beats. On 'I stay' Eva goes melancholic, leaving you slightly emotional if you allow yourself take that journey

7. Laiye Mi
DJ Klem. No longer underrated I hope. And if you are still sitting on him, stand up!
Klem has a mixtape/album out-Six8Ten and it features artistes like Efa and Pheroshwuz.
'Laiye mi' by Iye (who has in the past laced vocals for songs like 'Hate' with Illbliss on the Knighthouse Street Scriptures album) is soft but powerful. Kind of like the vocalist!

8. If You Want Efa
Okay fine! Its still 'if you want me' but I prefer my own title
Efa takes on Mo Cheddah's hugely succesful song, and covers it wonderfully!

9. You're Not My Girl
I would love, love for Mo Cheddah and Zara to do a response to this song by Teeto, featuring Beazy and Ghetto P.
I can't help it though, they might be dissing ladies who don't get that a date is not a wedding, but I cannot help playing this song regularly! Especially on the show!

10. Be There Remix
You might have heard that Tu Face's album is excellent. And that it costs a thousnd naira
But did you also know it has this song?
Probably!
So why is it just making my list?
Well it is its time jo!
Why the remix?
Well the remix keeps what makes the song for me- the way it starts ("there's something on my mind... I wanna talk about it... This must be love), and then it adds Mr Incredible- MI
I consider MI and Tu Face to be two of the best when it comes to features because they know how to become the mood, feel and owner of the song, without losing their own identity!

So please pass me a red coke and put the p on
I do have to say though, new songs are fighting their way to that space, so see you again next month, with another top ten!

Popular singer and inventor of the "Free madness" Terry G was involved in an auto car accident on the 4th of September as at 3am.


He was said to have been going home after hanging out with a couple of friends when he ran into a road limit.

Fear that he has been hospitalized rose through facebook and twitter but Terry G (real name Gabriel Amanyi) was quick to dash fear when he took to his twitter account:

"i dey o. Thanks for all the love.. God pass them.. I wan go rest small!! Ginjah no go die. God guide us and One love my people! I appreciate".
